About Me
Hey guys and gals. I’m Eric Perkins, a php programmer, ruby hacker, sometimes graphic designer, startup geek, and all around techno-nerd living in Austin. As the lead (and often only) developer on several startup projects, I split my time between my startup and my client projects. When not programming, you can find me in area bookstores, on my bike, or walking around local area parks and trails.
My current technology passion is voice over IP. VoIP related projects currently occupy the bulk of my time and are where my real creative drive lies. To see one of my latest efforts, you can visit Konectas.
Besides VoIP projects, my programs, designs, and sites have been used by clients such as the Texas Association of Builders, Hanley Wood, Washington Mutual, the NFL, and growing startups like Instinct Marketing (2007 Inc. 500 Winner). Additionally, I have worked with several online marketing and design firms, and have even done freelance development work in a variety of industries. With over eight years in the web development and interactive media industries on projects large and small, you may have seen or used my work and not even known it.
